Almond Tea Cookies

1 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 t. vanilla
3 drops almond extract
1/4 t. salt
1/4 t. cinnamon
2 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup blanched almonds

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Allow butter to come to room temperature. Finely chop blanched almonds. Sift flour and confectioners sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Cream the butter, sugar, vanilla, almond extract, salt and cinnamon. Add flour and stir in almonds. Chill if necessary to make firmer before shaping. Roll level teaspoons of the dough into balls. Place a few inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. With a spatula, remove to wire racks. At once roll in extra confecitoners sugar. Store in tightly covered tin box. Yield: 2 1/2 to 3 dozen cookies.
